Road tax scam

The gov. is again using the green excuse as usual to increase road fund license on our cars, like every year. Especially at this time when car use is discouraged when there is no risk of catching corona/v will be £555 from April of what I can see. The jump from band K £325 to our band L is £230! and the jump from J to K is just £25!!
There is also this £2000 road fund licence every year being discussed in the halls of the clueless for new performance cars and going back to those registered in '17 onwards..F90 owners beware.

I agree about the tax and the bandings, all just looks like a botched compromise, especially when you see black smoke pouring out the back of a low tax band diesel.

F90 drivers should be taxed on how many times they tell people how much better the car is with 4wd traction. We could build pyramids with that sort of tax income.

I love the fact that my car meets the requirements to go in the London ULEZ with no charge but it is considered for terms of road tax a high polluter - only in the UK!!!!

It's sick, that goes with having no motoring lobby in Parliament.

Yeah this is a hefty month here too - car insurance on both mine and the wifes car, home insurance, M5 road tax and extended warranty...would have been service and MOT as well but lockdown scuppered that for a few weeks. Equally though none of these are surprise bills...
