Turner exhaust
Can anyone with this exhaust give me some feedback please before i order. Currently have a Remus backbox fitted and it's like i'm driving a non m car.
https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...xhaust/?pdk=CQ 200$ for shipping and then on top i will probably be hit by customs so want to make sure it's the right one for me! I want it LOUD when you step on it but at the same time, no drone when cruising. Thanks |

Itll definitely be loud when you step on it but you will get drone when driving around town especially. Highway is super quiet if you stay in 6th gear while cruising. Overall really wakes up the car and sounds great if willing to put up with a little drone with ASD disabled

Don't really mind a little drone around town, even the Remus gives a bit of drone really. I just won't be able to cope on long journeys on the motorway/highway so that's good to hear. Will order this.
I will email them today to see if they can reduce the value on the shipping forms as i think i will be hit with HUGE custom fees! |

Okay getting the Turner is proving rather difficult, they have also said the sound is unlikely to be replicated by any custom exhaust shop as they have taken a long time to perfect it.
Can anyone confirm if this is true as i have spoken to a custom exhaust shop here who say it's easy? |

If you're worried about drone - we built our resonated muffler bypass with limiting it in mind - and they're cheaper than Turner.

I bought my turner used and absolutely love it! If not, I would have for sure went with Soul!!
I am still shocked the M didn't come out of the factory sounding like this. I love it, not loud at all except from outside of the vehicle. Hardly any drone and trust me, I would have been the first to comment on that if the drone was bad at all. |

I couldnt stand the drone, happens at ~1800 RPMs (my cruising range).

I have the muffler delete on my car now. The tips stick out quite far (I am pretty sure they can be adjusted) and they are significantly larger than stock so looks wise its pretty awesome. As for the drone, 1700-2000 is the rpm to avoid. Do some test driving and see where you drive the car. You might not even hear it while others (me) hear it constantly and would prefer valved rear section. I also deleted my resonators so it gives it a good sound but does drone worse in that rpm range. Currently looking into making a custom valved rear section with valvetronic designs.
SparkNotes: It does drone, but looks and sounds good. Can definitely be made for cheaper but would sacrifice the cool tips. |
