Anybody here got a call from Matt asking to Air Ship the headlights for an additional $250? It will get here faster rather than waiting 4 weeks via boat.

This was their email to me this morning.

We have to pay the factory ahead of time for that to happen, that’s why we sent you the expedite fee of $240 dollars.

You can pay for the remainder of the headlight order on Friday (if all goes well on shipping) but we do need the expedite fee ahead of time.

The seller replied to me in English, and supposedly have fast shipping out of California. I think I'm going to get them because I have a 2011 with the halogen headlights. Also come with warranty and are 1,600 with free shipping

I paid for the Air Shipment instead of the usual Sea Shipment.

Will be receiving it next Friday and will post installed pictures.

They make a nice set for f8x m3 and m4. Outside of that, I don't know too much about them.

I know you have moved on from the 528 life but do you mind telling me what you coded to go from the Halogen Headlights to Umnitza's LED'S?

I sent you a PM but wasn't sure if you still check the other forum.

I would greatly appreciate your help!

Your warranty is supposed to be leaving in 24/48 hours maximum to us for inspection. Really really appreciate your patience.

Our trade off was simple, the factory would put them on a container - along with many other things - on or around August 4th-8th, from there, it's 3 weeks minimum delivery time frame from actual on the water transport, then customs clearance, and/or possible examination/paperwork holds.

This was unfortunately the best way, they asked us to pay $240 directly. If you see the dimensions of these boxes, then do a DHL rate quote, it's actually higher than $240, it comes out to $450+ but we use an agent in Hong Kong to do a brokered rate that helps a little bit.

Honestly wish this factory was faster at making them. There are still 2 pre-orders that we cannot reach yet, and those 2 headlights are sold and they are the last ones available for 2-3 more weeks. So they will likely go onto that container shipment (JW and PV - waiting for you guys).

If you all have questions about the products once they land into Marcel, Eugene, Archie's (and AJ is getting installed shortly) hands, let us know.

Lights looks AMAZING... pictures don't do proper justice. Definitely worth the wait and $. Car looks so much better ... adds an aggressive look I feel the M5 is supposed to have.

Meeting up with Adrian tomorrow to get the coding all squared away and then we should be perfect.

We have 2 more people that will be getting them by air that have paid the $240 air shipment. For right now, those are the last two lights we know of until late August.

In Late August, we may have 3 or 5, it's not yet clear.
1 person has put a $1K deposit down for the next one of those.

I just installed my set yesterday and all I had to do is remove the wheels, remove the front wheel splash guards and stretch the front bumper to slide out the Headlights.

When you remove the wheels and front splash guards you can easily access the two bolts underneath that's holding the Headlights on the bottom part.

Took me 40 min to install the led Headlights.

3 halogen.

There are still 2 at the factory that we can air ship if anyone is interested.

Marcel wanted us to share his install.
