I know this is an older thread but new to me. Am I correct that you can change over the LED marker to the new grill? And where is the best place to obtain the M5 badge to go with?

Thanks

The way described to remove them is incorrect.

I bought the special BMW tool for this job and it takes 10 seconds per side.

unfasten the 3 clips on the bottom of the grille and it just pulls straight out

Did the other one and it's survived being in hot sun all day, no one mentions it but you have to fold the wrap into the back of the surround with hair dryer. Damn SD card packed up..ordered new one.

I know it's sad but easy to slip them on without bending over, pottering around garage I put any old garb on. How are you doing, where you live there must be empty roads for miles...

All good mate yes its near silent with the exception of birds and lambs, not driven the car for 3 weeks but the roads are empty.

Sounds bad but being in lockdown in such a remote location you really only see upsides.

Haven't charged battery for M for 3 years since I bought it, gave it a charge for 8 hours and the stop/start started coming on like crazy running errands within gov guidelines; will be doing it every weekend while lockdown goes on.
