RS6 C7 Performance 0-200km/h GPS Acceleration.

Today I found this:

0-200: 12.0s on 21'' wheels in 11*C, not bad for estate car

3.7s 0-100km/h
8.3s 100-200km/h
above 100km/h it's comparable to M5 F10, or even bit slower...

AWD and the tq converting tranny hurt its roll vs the S63tu engines. (the 21 inch boat anchors didn't help)

Something is wrong here... the current RS7 can go 0-100 km/h in less than 3.4 second (0-60 in less than 3.3 second). How this RS6 can go 0.3 second slower?? it's not that much heavier and has more power... unless we accept this home made video is not accurate or as usual not same day, same driver, same condition...BUT agree with you and even RS7 with new engine is not able to keep up with M5/M6 in rolling as you said

i know that RS6/RS7 got random factory bonus just like M5/M6, so it is very difficult to compare two same cars because they can have different power.

Best Stock RS6 C7 which i know about was 7.8s 100-200 full stock 560hp (610hp-dyno).
But still, if You need estate car and You like performance, there is no better option in my opinion. ~8seconds 100-200 and repeatable <4s 0-100km/h is enough for daily traveling with kids

Its the street--- the science is just not there to an absolute, who knows the angle of the run or the conditions. There is CoEd too and I do believe the RS6 is a wind blocker Just too many variables in the real world because they aren't pre meditated tests or adjusted for conditions.

All I know is the RS6 is plenty sexy and I could care less about the small gaps in runs vs its faster brother (both cars in the Performance set up have the same 605 hp right?. Its just not available here.

I wanna see a rolling race badly.........

Based on some tested numbers it seems like the RS7 performance can beat M5/6 in rolling, but it would much better if I can see both side by side. I will be very happy if M5/6 still kept their edge.

That's one hot wagon.

In any case, the next MB E63 AMG wagon will definitely have to step it up. Nevertheless this is a very interesting time for performance wagons =)

I have the old RS6 V10 with a tune and around 700hp.
I have the new RS6 V8 560 hp for now stock.
I have a M5F10 560hp when it was still stock I raced it against the RS6 V10...from 100-250kmh. M5 was slightly faster on the roll.
I raced the RS6 V8 against my RS6 V10 from 100-250kmh and RS6 V10 was slightly faster.

So my stock M5 is faster than my stock RS6 V8.
I love both cars because they are so different and both fun to drive!

I have no doubt stock M5 is faster than RS6/7. I want to know about the new performance edition, perhaps time for you to upgrade? Hehe.

I owned both an F10 and F13 M5 and M6 and an RS7... pre tune its my experience that the RS7 would easily stomp the M brothers from a dig and reach the quarter mile in a faster time but with a lower terminal velocity. The M's really shine from the roll and are so efficient. Now once I tuned the RS7 I would guess that the RS7 would be much more formidable from the roll with its near 128 trap speed. From a dig--- say goodbye. I would bet I could launch that tuned car in the rain vs the M in the dry and I could pull from a dig.

God cars are great aren't they!!!
