Annoying "issue" when playing songs via Bluetooth

Hey! I currently own a 2014 mod F10 M5 Competition Package. I went from a 2011 530D F11, and i absolutely love it. There is just one thing i noticed when playing music from spotify via bluetooth. Whenever the song changes (or i skip it), my phone lights up. This is super annoying at night, and i cant find any settings to help with it. At first i thought it was something with the phone. But the funny thing is that it did not happen on my 530D, which had CIC iDrive. Could this be something because i now have NBT? Also, it wont play audio via snapchat or from my gallery, unless there is a spotify song playing in the background. If i pause a song, audio from other apps wont play at all. Super weird. Anyone else had this problem and maybe have a solution? Really boring when i want to play a snapchat video, and have to turn off bluetooth to be able to hear te sound..
