PPI questions

I’m looking at a M5 at a BMW dealership. It looks amazing in the pictures and is sitting in the showroom now so I assume they wouldn’t put it in there if it wasn’t immaculate. My question is would you trust an inspection done at the same dealership (by their service people) or would you get someone else to go look it over?

Anyone near Suitland Maryland (just outside DC) or know if a good place to use for a PPI there?

Thanks,

Jamie

I'd get independent PPI done.

Is it CPO or not?
If it is then it has likely gone under a basic PPI already in order to be certified. If it isn't then yes get an independent PPI. If it is still under manufacturer warranty and is CPO'd then you are most likely safe. Though it never hurts to get an independent opinion, but you are most likely wasting your money.

Always get an independent PPI, if the guy/dealer your buying from knows the shop take it elsewhere, and get an oil analysis as part of it.

PPI means nothing. car can still blow a month later.

If the car is CPO, just do it. Everything is covered.
