M5 - Now not using any oil?

HI All

My M5 F10 used to use around 1,000ml of oil every 1,500 miles. End of June it went in to BMW for a big service, oil, filters, plugs etc. Since then I have covered 1,500 miles and the oil is still on MAX.

I am concerned as surely it would not just stop using oil? Still the same driving etc..

Any ideas?

Thanks
Rob

Did the dealer use the same brand/weight as the previous oil change?

I know for my old E60 M5 when switching to Liqui Moly brand, the car didn't burn oil like the Castrol oil would.

Not sure mate...I only bought the car in March. I filled up with Castrol Edge oil, so interesting you said that.
