I'm buying four 20" wheels (409M model) with tires already mounted on them. I have to drive over 200 miles each way to get them and want to make sure they will all fit somehow inside the M5. I don't have a bigger vehicle to take unfortunately.

Anybody knows for sure that you can fit all 4 wheels with tires inside the M5? Im thinking only one will fit in the trunk, and then 3 inside the passenger cabin.. but hopefully two would fit in the trunk.

Anyone done a seasonal changeover and the shop put all 4 20" wheels in the car?

Thanks

I think if you put both rear seats down you should be able to fit all four in there. If you don't have a passenger with you you could put one in the front seat if they don't all fit in the back.

Thanks, good tip! Didn't know both rear seats went down, I'll try that. I won't have a passenger so one wheel could go there if needed.

Shouldn't be a problem...I've transported four 345M's with tires on in my M5. I put 1 rear wheel in the trunk, 1 rear and front in the back seats and 1 in front passenger. Make sure you wrap/cover them up so you don't mess up the interior!

Got the wheels yesterday. All four 20" wheels (with tires on) fit in the back seat. I stacked them standing up on the back seat, so they're resting between the back seat rest and the back of the front seats. Didn't even have to move my driver seat forward, and I have it far back.

Lots of space in this M5 !

Nice! I'm actually surprised they all fit like that. Good job.

Glad you got it sorted. I was going to say, I have had 4 20" rims/tires in the back of my M3, so the M5 shouldn't be a problem.
