Extended warranty options

Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge of Delta Auto Protect? The factory warranty on my M5 is ending soon and I'm looking for extended warranty options. I've seen mixed reviews online, some positive and some negative.

I've also received a quote from EFG through AutoPOM. Anyone have acceptance or rejection/denial of their claims through them?

Appreciate any feedback.

I just took a 4-year, 50000 mile extended warranty on my new to me 2013 M5. The cost was 5995. It was for The EFG Platinum coverage, a plan that I previously had on my M3. Outstanding coverage, bought it through my BMW dealership, and never had a claim questioned. they also offer a payment plan of up to two years if you want to pay it off that way, zero interest.

69k on the car.

No one said anything about zurich but a quick search here and google search of other forums shows lots of problems and denial of coverage for easycare. Its your money, take a chance and report back to us.

fyi, i called my dealership and they offered me 7 year (from original sell date), 100k for $6700.

Given that the car came with 4 year, that is basically 3 year 100k for $6700.

I actually bought it CPO with a 6 year 100k.. so not about to pay $6700 for 1 additional year.

I guess nobody warranties past 7 years from original sell date. Then again, after 7 years, a low mileage M5 will be worth something in the low 20k range.. so i guess its not that huge of a deal if it blows up?

If you are military (current or retired), check into USAA.

I did EasyCare, My dealership works with them and said they are very easy to work with. Just bought 3yr/36K miles from 2 days ago with 39K miles. So we will see when I make first claim when it happens. But Finance guy said they are great

That's really strange? I bought my EasyCare last Friday and they called me Jay called me from Carchex yesterday and I let him know I went with Easycare(no 30 day, 1000 mile wait time). Mine is a 2013. I wouldnt have bought the car without it. that sucks they wont do.

Yeah spoke to Jay today, all the underwriters said no more M5's. Said my quote was still good thru him for a week or so on my M5 if I needed, but I just got the easycare from the dealer when I got the car. He said it wasn't profitable car for them to warranty. I wouldn't have gotten the car without warranty. I fully trust BMW's and so does my family, but also know to only go with warranty
