bbs f1 rims

just pulled the trigger and ordered the rims from tire rack
but since the pss 305/30/20 tires are backordered
the order is on hold

i have a 2014 singapore gray vehicle
i ordered the rims in the titanium finish

i was worried about the rim/curb rash with the black painted rims

i was wondering what type of rim program BBS has
wanted to get some input from the forum

i ordered from tire rack because the price per rim is 2,095 a piece

You got a good salesperson at TR. I tried them first for mine, but they would only sell at full retail. Bought through IND at a package price for mounted/balanced tires with TPMS and shipping, $11,500. Your deal seems better.

I had some questions for BBS and got a fast response from Robert.Way@bbs-usa.com

The rim protection from the overhang of the Michelin SSP is pretty good, but of course anything can happen.....!

I hope IND reads this post and will compete with the Tire Rack price point for buyers in the future. (edit)I feel better after looking up the new prices BBS has for their FI wheels. $2095 is full retail now, I believe retail for mine in May of 2014 was $2450 or thereabouts. Nice to see prices dropping instead of rising!

I don't think the color of the paint on the BBS rims will make any difference if you hit a curb. Mine are black, but I haven't hit a curb yet.

Why don't you fit Pirelli P Zeros? They're a great tire.

I love these wheels and think they are perfect on the F10 M5. If anyone is interested in picking up a set, feel free to contact me. Special M5post pricing is always available to all of you.

BBS are some of the lightest wheels out on the market, and the quality is top notch. Perfect M5 fitment 20x9.5 f and 20x10.5 rear. Also the color choice of titanium, gloss black, and satin black is a great choice for all the beautiful colors BMW has to offer.

If you would like any more information please let me know.
