What are your thoughts? Any faster really? Sound really better? Steering really better?
Seen a lot of stuff saying yes but is it really true? Thanks in advance!!! |

Find MCarsFan, he is on here and has a 2014 M5 Comp and came from a 2013 M5 Non Comp
For me, the noticeable difference is the exhaust note, the comp package sounds amazing for a stock exhaust system. The blacked out look I've seen on these as well I like. They are noticeably quicker and suspension feels better. This is based on my experience driving his car. |

M5 with comp is a pretty awesome combo. Hard to argue with that.

I've owned both. There's a noticeable difference. Comp package is definitely worth it.

I briefly had a non-comp '13 f10 M5 before which I gave to a family member within a year. The lack of exhaust grunt on that car bothered me, but I'm trying to confirm that the comp package exhaust sounds noticeably better.
hoping to pull the trigger in the next week or so on a new or used one soon. thanks guys. |

BUT if you will be adding power and mods to your CP package IMO i would just get regular Non Cp model since you will add susbtential power exceeding cp power. you can really just spend under $1000 and you will walk away from a stock CP car. it really depends on what plans you have for your future beast |

I wonder for the 6-7k package if its worth just getting a non comp and going Dinan for the same price. Probably gain better results

I have a '15 CP and I lied to myself saying I wasn't going to mod this car
If I was going to do it again... knowing full well now that I would be tuning, lowering, full exhaust, etc.... I would probably spend the coin on the CCB, but not the CP. The price of the CP is about the same as a full exhaust and a tune, FWIW Last edited by Grumpywings; 08-27-2015 at 05:33 PM.. Reason: der |

If you aren't going to heavily mod your car, the I say go for it.
I have some 21's on there and the rear fitment and stance is perfect. The front however is a bit high for my taste but I'm ok with it. I try not to tinker with stock too much but just enough to individualize the car to my tastes...

Had both. If you're gonna remap your engine..lower and do an exhaust go for CCB and dont worry about CP. But don't get me wrong I love my 14 M5 CP..

yes yes
The difference between old M5 F10 and new M5 LCI CP is bigger than I could image.
This is a short summary after 400 KM. - idrive is better interface and more stable Bluetooth connection - More features in idrive - Steering wheel is more modern in design - The car is more stable on the on road an feels more like a sports car than a saloon car with big engine - More stiff but not uncomfortable - Steering much more direct - Harmon kardon is much better than standard audio system - LED lights is so much better than Xeon lights - Exhaust sound gives you a big smile on your face - Easier to drive in high traffic and in town On autobahn it is great with sport plus it is very very fast. Flat out is 265 Kmph (165 Mph) on GPS After 14 000 KM - Suspension is softer - Exhaust sound gives you a bigger smile on your face |

It's a great package. I love mine! Huge improvement from my 13. The exhaust kinda sucks and I would recommend something aftermarket, but the suspension and steering + the extra power is well worth it.

Had 2 2013 M5s and now a 14 M5 CP - no question, worth it for me. One of my 2013s was lowered and had exhaust, I would take the CP over it in a heartbeat.

I think if you spent $6-7k aftermarket you would end up with a faster and better handling car than what the CP gives you.
But if you are comparing stock to stock, then CP is better. But I do think my Eisenmann with Dinan sways is better than a CP car. The Dinan antiroll bars are much tighter than the CP ones.
