Pulisic is playing well and he has gotten his mojo back. Hopefully Tuchel will reward him with more playing time as a result. He is clearly a good fit when he's on the pitch at the same time as Havertz and Kante. Tuchel's system was not meant for a traditional back-to-the-goal type striker which is what Lukaku is. I thought it might still be okay and add a new dimension for them, but it hasn't worked out that way. He's just too damn slow and his so-called touch is shit. They need speed and quick decision making.

IF Pulisic stays healthy, he is lethal with his speed.
On a somewhat related anti-note: I signed up for Friday night soccer, first pick-up game is 3/4. The adjective "speed" isn't used any longer for my game |

I said Pulisic was explosive haha, I think if he stays injury free he could have a similar career to Hazard

Yep, and that has always been the issue with Pulisic. Pretty sure we were discussing this a while back. He's made of glass but damn if he isn't good when he's healthy.

apparently he is safe from sanctions but you never know, after the saudi oil prince buying Newcastle its clear the prem has no time for human rights or political activism.

Speaking of watching, who here will be able to watch the League Cup Final?
I'll be watching via online to access the Sky network that has exclusive broadcasting rights. Unfortunately it won't be on Peacock or USA. I know the Chelsea squad will have a lot on their minds but hopefully they'll be able to concentrate and play well against Liverpool. |

oh man, its a different element he brings to the game that we have been lacking, could even be more potential service for Lukaku, maybe that is the second half game plan, sub both in.

Yeah, they shouldn't start Lukaku. They did just fine without him. We shouldn't worry about servicing Lukaku if the likes of Havertz, Pulisic and even Ziyech are rolling.

Chelsea owner handing over ownership
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich suddenly handed over the “stewardship and care” of the Premier League club to its charitable foundation trustees on Saturday.
The move came after a member of the British parliament called for the Russian billionaire to hand over the club in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Abramovich, who has owned Chelsea since 2003, made no mention of the war in his statement. “During my nearly 20-year ownership of Chelsea FC, I have always viewed my role as a custodian of the club, whose job it is ensuring that we are as successful as we can be today, as well as build for the future, while also playing a positive role in our communities,” he said. “I have always taken decisions with the Club’s best interest at heart. I remain committed to these values. That is why I am today giving trustees of Chelsea’s charitable Foundation the stewardship and care of Chelsea FC. “I believe that currently they are in the best position to look after the interests of the club, players, staff, and fans.” |
