JBSpeed high kick spoiler

I really like the high kick spoiler that JBSpeed make for the m5.

Does anybody know what the quality and fitment is like?

Has anybody ordered from the UK? How long did shipping take and was there any customs charges?

Thanks

I had it on my 535i and I highly recommend it. Color matched perfect. I think it took a week or so to get to USA

Looks great, I'm not sure whether to get a carbon one or a painted one for my monte carlo blue beast.

Are they located in Taiwan? I thought they were in the USA. Is the currency shown on their website USD?

I ended up going with carbon (waiting to install it) but I have space grey. Yeah I believe they are Taiwan but currency is still USD as I'm guessing most of their buyers are from here

Did you buy the high kick one at $240? I'd love to see some pics of that fitted. Does the quality look good on the carbon?

Which one should I go for on MCB, carbon or colour coded? Does anybody have any pics of either on MCB?

Got mine from JB speed maybe 3 weeks ago. Fitment is spot on and the CF is gorgeous. My actual pics are on the JBspeed website. It is the Alpine white with CF high kick. Shipping to the USA was about 3 days. very quick shipping and great communication

That's the one that got my attention. Beautiful car. I think I'm most likely going to go with the cf one.

i had the the jbspeed high kick on a 550. i liked it at the time but as time has passed i like the spoiler that isnt as low profile as the oem spoiler but not as tall as the high kick.

i cant recall where i got it, but pretty sure amazon.

and not a fan of the tall middle notched f90 spoilers on the f10, nor the f90 red interior buttons on the f10
u got an f10m5, but u want it to be an f90?
makes me think of hillbillies that get old chevy trucks and put contemporary chevy wheels on it, like, oh man.. tricked me

sorry for the strong opinion but i am a fan of period correctness and authenticity

I hate red buttons too, looks like a cheap nasty Honda. Wasn't sure about the carbon fibre as it might be a bit chavy but fancied a change. I think I'm going to like it. My m performance rear diffuser has grown on me.

the carbon fiber works on almost every color imho. with black metallic, 3 meters away you cant tell its carbon and not paint match. i dig it.

i have a carbon spoiler and splitters up front. I think if I put the carbon fiber m performance rear splitter it will be too much carbon fiber. and that's OK with me because the only rear splitter I like is the oem mperf one that is $1000+ But I kept my factory painted spoiler and if I ever get a hold of the rear splitter for less than $1,000
I will get it

off topic: spelling it carbon fibre is way cooler than carbon fiber lol

and
i saw a new ferrari red(actual color code) m550i (lame not real m) but that red and it had a graphite color badging that was nice as hell. it looked good but not an m5.. and he had a vanity plate 'mmm5' ... i was like naahhh.. but a 65+ yr old man so hes ok

You're right about the oem m performance carbon splitter. It is expensive but I picked mine up for £395 in perfect condition. Needless to say I couldn't buy it fast enough, I was lucky nobody else saw it before me.

Hate non m cars with m bits and badges on them. Many of them in my area. Saw a 6 series today with all the m6 bits on it, quad exhaust etc. Almost fooled me until I noticed the square wing mirrors lol. Was still a nice car though.

With the fortune they spend on doing up 5 and 6 series making up a fake M they probably wouldn't have to re-mortgage the house to get the real thing.
