Not had a chance and probably won't for a few weeks.
just had a thought, could pre- LCi and LCi have different ends?

Yes I think that is the case.Just use another place; I'm going to have the two that I need specially made as the type I want is not the run of the mill.

Now all we've got to do is make this rain go away, too much of it and it's June.

It seems that they have the correct tips for the comp pack but not for us mere mortals with non comp pack

This thread is extremely painful. The diameter of the bare pipe is 68.5mm, I have not read this, I specifically went out and measured my spare exhaust this morning in a desperate bid to stop this debate. The pre LCI and LCI exhausts are exactly the same, I do not know about comp pack exhausts but they are likely the same diameter.

Don't order tips that are more than 2-3mm larger as they will never nip up, or of they do they will not be great. I'd say anything up to 70mm would work, 69mm preferably.

Before you order anything you have to measure your pipes when you have time of course and go from there.I suspect that the pipe diameters may differ slightly i.e. from CP to non CP and even after year to year manufacture.
This is why the standard pipe ends have sharp brackets standing proud in the inlet pipe to dig into the car pipe for grip.

Both mine are non comp exhausts. I took the tips from one and put them on the other and fit perfect. Measure yours again with a vernier caliper.

Haven't any verniers but used 3 different type of steel tapes and it says 71mm from outside of pipe+_ .5mm so 68.5 aftermarket tip wouldn't fit.

Sorry to seem blunt but you have to be measuring them wrong. Everybody else has 68.5mm on standard m5 exhaust so yours has to be the same.

Well lets see what Mravant measurement is from the outside of pipe when he's ready, three tape measurements can't all be that much out. Some tip sellers do say that their tips won't fit BMW M Motorsport pipes so do you know what that measurement is?

The pipes they are referring to are most likely the m performance exhaust/akrapovic. All standard m5 exhausts will be the same, every last one, that's not including the comp pack as I'm not sure if they are different or not.

Fitted the 2 new tips as was fed up looking at them on mantlepiece and they slid on lovely; the huge circlips were nipped up with the bolts above the pipes.
When I have the other two I will post pics..I'm thinking I may have M motorsport exhaust system maybe!!

Just received the tips today and wow was I pleasantly surprised. I have a '14 m5 CP without M performance exhaust. So I went ahead and ordered the 68.5mm polished CF and polished SS. Shipping from HK to the USA was just under a week. Helen who was handling the communication was very patient and knowledgeable about what she was talking about.

The link for these particular tips can be found on this thread. They have different finishes to choose from.

ENJOY!!

Just been informed my item is at langley hub. After looking at the site and seing the amount of held up items there and disgruntled customers even from eu i'm sceptical as to how long it will take before it leaves that place. From what I see its a bit chaotic there.

Surprised I've received my exhaust tip which I've now fitted.
Not good that it's just 3 tips fitted now as the place where they are made to order can only do one at a time and as soon as I got it I ordered the 4th one. After you order a custom one the site blocks you from having another custom one.
So if you want the pictures I'll do them but it will look a little odd or wait until the last one arrives
