They quoted $1500 to install the RGB HALO DRL lights.... with XMAS around the corner i can spend my money elsewhere sounds rather expensive.

Thanks bud. Yeh the guy i used is actually quite good just doesn't do alignment. he was actually working on a lambo after he worked on mine. Im in Bergen County and still driving the car until the snow is fully out then im back to my Volvo XC90 R-Design which is fun to drive. Got to find a specialty shop for the alignment.
Do you happen to know anyone who can do headlight retrofits, i am thinking of changing my halos for C-Shapped RGB (i know can be tacky but i love the gimmick) just haven't found anyone willing to bake open the headlights and make the retrofit.
Check out 914customz on Instagram for the headlight he's like 30 min from Paramus.

Check out the stance shop on Instagram as well it's in queens (Astoria) for all tune up/suspension/downpipes/alignments. Keith the owner does tons of work on the f8x m and f1x m cars. He been working on my cars for years now. Tons of guys go to him the prices are extremely affordable with no //m tax added on. Tell him (white m5) sent you

Anyone do 12-mm rears with 305's and experience any rubbing?

12MM F, 15MM R experience

Just lowered my 2013 M5 with Eibach springs and installed 12MM F and 15MM R spacers. Stock tire sizes.

The rear rubs on big dips once in a while and the front passenger side rubs during slow right hand turns.

Will be getting an alignment shortly, we'll see if that fixes it.

I bought my car about half a year ago, and now that I think about it, it may just have M6 wheels that a previous owner installed! Which seems like a logical theory since pretty much nobody else rubs even with a 15F/15R setup.

If you added 15 mm spacers to a M6 343M rear you would definitely notice it sticking out. It's gonna poke like Mexican style. It's technically a 10.5 et 4, which I've never seen in this forum. So I highly doubt you have M6 wheels

Thanks for the insight, I never bothered to check how much lower the offset is or whether the M6 wheels are any wider.

I'll take some photos tomorrow.

That looks great. I can't wait to put mine on tomorrow. Your weather is *slightly* better than mine, however.

Yes SF is ok when it's under 80, it still sprinkled 2 times today! Anyway with putting 15mm in rear I either need to back the rears down to a 10mm or keep the 15mm on rear and add 5mm to the front.

Any plans to lower the car? The rear looks very similar to mine, just higher (obviously).

Due to having my car at the dealer to diagnose a comfort access/locking issue and bad weather I haven't had the chance to have an alignment done yet.

I am not getting an alignment at the dealer because I have a trust worthy shop with a very nice brand new Hunter machine that will spend some time final tuning the alignment if needed as opposed to simply adjusting to factory settings which wouldn't exactly be optimal any longer as it is lowered.

I don't think I'll lower it for a little while. Going to put 5 or 10mm spacers up front in next week and doing open flash tune and then soul muffler bypass. Those are priority first then later this yr I'll start looking at lowing options

12F/15R with eibach springs. No alignment yet, the rear rubs on really big dips and front passenger side rubs inner fender on wide right hand turns 🤷🏻*♂️🤷🏻*♂️

I'm down on adjustable springs to pretty much as long as I can go. I'm most likely going with the 12 front and 10mm rear spacer setup soon.
