Minor Touches

I've come to know through experience, after owning several Ms that these cars really stand out with minor touches.

I've done the following so far since my Purchase in July 2018.

- ZCP Facelift Black/Black Front Grilles
- ZCP Facelift Black M5 Badge
- M-Performance High Kick Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler
- Plasti-Dipped Side Grilles (to match the inner grille)

Pictures below from Old to New

1. Stock Grilles, Stock Spoiler, Stock badge with the normal license plate.

2. Sports license plate (smaller) but left 6 screw holes in the bumper

3. Stock Spoiler removed, trunk polished and M-Performance CF Spoiler fitted

4. Side Grilles removed and Plasti-Dipped

End Results
- Painted Bumper
- New Spoiler
- New Sports License Plate
- New Grilles
- New Badge

looks great! very tasteful and I agree it is the small cosmetic mods that make these cars stand out from the rest.

can you share details on the carbon fiber rear spoiler?

Thanks man!

Few stuff makes the car stand out. The rear end looks amazing now.

The spoiler was called M-Performance Style High Kick CF

I'll try to get you a link for it

Here's a fresh shot from yesterday

Great touches that make an overall subtle, but noticeable difference. Well done!

I'm interested in how or what you used to fill the holes in your bumper. Front plates are not required in my state, but I'm looking at several M5s from other states and they have a huge plate holder in front. What's your secret?

Got the dealership to take care of it.

AFAIK, they applied special sort of putty, with bit of use of sanding paper the bumper was ready to receive paint.

I didn't want to mess with the 300 color code as it is hard to match, so I decided to go for the expensive, yet more reliable way. Painting it at the Dealership.

Where did you buy the LCI grilles with the M5 badge? I'm looking for the same.

Thanks!

You can buy them from your local dealer. They come in 4 parts
2 parts for the grilles, 1 for the badge and 1 for the badge holder.
