How bad can they be?

No lol, that would be stage 2... Which is more power and as you say can kill clutches. Hence why i am staying Stage 1, but i want the decats for more sound. Will prob be around 720-730bhp.

I have a stage 1 tune and get 708bhp on Surrey Rolling Road, the tune is with OpenFlash.

Do you not think its a bit of pain having to put them back on/off every year for the MOT though

3or4hrs work every year... for the sound and performance increase - no.
