Leather dash bubbling
Anyone here have their leather dashboard start to bubble?
$4k replacement from BMW with 50% off from dealer. For a luxury car like this I'm pissed it's starting to bubble. |

I have the same problem with mine. It's bubbled/wrinkled? near the center B&O speaker.
I plan to remove the upper dash this summer (while I have another car to drive) and try to fix myself or see about having a trim shop do it. |

Mine is doing a similar thing like the right side of your speaker... Basically looks loose from the corner where the speaker trim starts. I'm hoping it can be pulled and glued back down. Did the shop you went to give a reason why they needed to retrim the whole thing? I would think it could be repaired, not replaced.

My dash leather began to bubble on the right side of the heads up display. It appears the bonding agent is failing. My car is garaged most of the time ang it still began failing about a year ago. I’m searching for a good repair/solution and will post if I find one.

I have the same issue around the center speaker. I plan to try and reglue it but I'm still working to devise the best way to apply weight as it dries. Something like bags of lead shot. Flexible and heavy.
