I wanna know how a bad hpfp feels
I have a 2014 m6gc with downpipes and custom tune from Jordan
Recently I when I am in 3 gear on the highway if I rev it out all the way Towards the top of the rpm it will start to break up Like it’s cutting fuel off I logged it and he told me that my hpfp is crashing So where do I start do I change the low pressure pump and then the hpfp No codes except I saw a code Lean mix |

dude .. your car is over boosting ...look at your 3rd gear section not the entire log. your boost targets are 20psi and the pre throttle psi is 32.8. at 5200 rpm. your HPFP is dropping yes but nothing crucial imo. no knock detected but high 12 AFR,13s at some point which isn't good. cars leaning out maybe a bit too much but that's tuning and jordan probably feels ok with that..

not sure could be mechanical ,maybe flash the car back to stock and do a log and post it (3rd gear) sport plus stuff on . watch the boost on dashboard if you can or get someone else to. if you see anything over 24 when you're on the throttle . just let off

maybe have a local shop do a boost leak test or the dealer . check couplers visually and even the turbo inlets. def still overboosting that was a stage 1 tune not stock tune btw lol

have you talked to the tuner about the overboost? see what he suggests . it didn't cut out cause its overboosting to about 25psi which still isn't good for a stock block with no meth spray

Not trolling, honest question: Why would a boost leak cause too much boost pressure? I would think boost leaks would cause a drop in overall pressure which is not recoverable. Even if the car tried to compensate, wouldn't it only compensate to the set limits? (ie 24 psi)

It happened to a friend of mine at some point, we gaped his spark plugs and the issue disappeared. Hope this helps. look at his log almost identical to your situation. https://datazap.me/u/mohamed-albahi/...12-13-14-15-17 Last edited by M6Roar; 06-09-2020 at 07:37 AM.. Reason: log added |

Make sure they put the correct injectors. There's 2, EU5 and EU6. They can't be interchanged. Apparently, this an issue. Just my 2 cents.
