Anyone running on Dinan Stage 1 on CP?
Hey guys,
I'm sure this question has probably come up many times but I can't find it and need some feedback. I've searched YouTube too and interestingly can't find any videos besides some marketing ones from Dinan itself. Wanted to see if anyone here has Stage 1 Dinan installed on their Comp. Pkg M5 and if so, how do you like it and if you have had any issues post install, and lastly if you have any dyno results to see how much HP and TQ gain you got. TIA |

yup, dinan stg 1 on my CP M5; I bought the car, it was already installed. knock on wood, haven't had a single issue. Because it was dealer installed, my CPO warranty is intact. I'm able to turn it on and off via the app. I can definitely tell a difference vs when I turn it off. I'd guess that it's not as aggressive as one of the flash tune options out there like BM3 or DME, but it's pretty darn good, smooth power delivery and an improvement over stock. I don't have dyno numbers yet but if I do, you can be sure I'll post them.

I've had a Dinan tune on my CP for over 2 years and it works great. I have stock air intake with carbon delete. Very very strong. Never dyno'd. I don't mind that its a little more conservative than other tunes as I think it will be more reliable. Btw, I run it as stage 2, no error codes.

I've been entertaining this since my warranty company will void my warranty absolutely on any tune. I just possibly want a bit more power. Seems like this on a stage 1 or 2 is the ticket. I had no idea it was a piggy back....normally I hate piggyback but.....
