My front rotors are rusting in the middle

Hello guys,

New user here. I'm having a problem with my front rotors where they're rusting in the middle as if the caliper isn't pressing there.

Can someone tell me what the problem might be? I attached a picture as well.

Thanks,
Raz

Rust comes from moisture. Are you having brake issues. I would look to see if your caliper pistons are leaking.

No brake issues. I'm gonna take the wheels and calipers off this weekend and try to see what's going on. It's the same on both front wheels.

The brake pads are not making contact on the rotors in those rust bands. Pull caliper and inspect

Brake pads are making contact alright if it's braking ok, take pads out and replace possible faulty pads with new ones and clean up rust with wire brush finishing of with wire wool if it's not a caliper fluid leak, if it was then you'd have warning and soft pedal.Whats in like on the inner side of disc?..the same or ok??

Quick update for future readers. Although a lot of gunk was removed, cleaning did not help much. I took it to a shop and they said everything looked good. They rebedded them and there's no problem anymore.
