MY2014 M5 LCI improvements known so far

Listing known MY2014 LCI improvements here, please add if I missed something:

- New angel eyes
- New rear lights
- New optional LED lights
- New bumper (minor changes)
- New front and rear monitor
- New Touchpad iDrive Controller
- New improved steering
- Optional: New improved MDM mode
- Optional: More power and 'even faster than the 4.4' acceleration (+20 HP)
- Optional: New ///M steering wheel
- Optional: New 20 inch wheels
- Optional: New ///M sport exhaust with a better sound, lighter weight and black tailpipes
- Optional: New carbon ceramic brakes
- Optional: New improved suspension
- Optional: More individual exterior color choices
- Unconfirmed: More choice of individual colors and contrast interior stitching like in M6GC (info from my dealership, anyone else got info on this?)

Anything else that I missed? Compared to previous generations, M5 F10 seems to have the shortest pre-LCI life cycle (2 years) vs LCI life cycle (5 years) until the next model hits and the most significant list of improvements introduced with LCI. I also wonder if they will release xDrive in the next few years, here taking BMW's rejection with a grain of salt as they had also announced that "M5 will have only minor improvements, most LCI changes will affect regular 5 series" which seems to be the opposite. Also which ones do you think will retrofit to older models? I'm thinking if it's better to keep mine or trade-in with some 50% value loss (official BMW dealership trade-in offer) because I want my M5 to be fully optioned. I'm most interested in performance upgrades while knowing the car is still under warranty.

I'm not sure everything's an "improvement". A "change" - yes. An improvement - maybe, some.

Questions -
- What new angel eyes, other than those on the squared-off LEDs?
- Why do you think the M6-style steering wheel will be optional?
- Do we know the M5's steering is changing?
- First I've heard of confirmed new interior and exterior colors.

One add - It looks as though there's some minor style changes where the hood and the headlights meet.

I think M6 steering would be optional because because personally I prefer current steering wheel, more 'full' and harmonic with M5. The interior and exterior stitching was offered a few months ago but kept more 'exclusive' wasn't available to my dealership and they said it would come for MY2014 officially. Anyone else got info on this maybe? I wonder if it would be retrofittable too

I may have to upgrade to the LCI with all of the changes, but the depreciation hit I'm not sure I can justify that.

Ya, I agree that the current wheel seems a better fit in the M5 (hefty, rather than sleek). But there have been spy pics of an M6-style wheel in a non-M LCI 5er, probably an M-Sport model. So I was thinking that, like the M-Sport 3, that style would migrate to the M-Sport 5 and to the M5. But that's just my guess.

Good thread, we should refer back to this to see what actually transpires. Only one I am most curious about is the improved steering?

Pleased to see LED DRL striplights are optional. I hate those things.
