Hi, about to order some wheels and just want to check that these offsets will be okay for clearance as the are made to order.

Fronts 20x10 et30
Rears 20x11 et31

I have done a calculation and think they will be fine but just wanted to double check with some of you!

Cheers

Those will be spot on. I had those exact offsets on a set of HRE's.

They will fit, you could fit more aggressive settings if you wanted to, I am running et28, others 27,26 and 25 at the front with a 10x20. The same at the back et 25-26 is possible with 295 and 305 on an 11. Check out some pictures from HRE with those offsets, I would go slightly more aggressive

By the way I am in Bath - UK, with 20x10 et28 and 20x11.5 et 33. So my front rim edge is 2mm further out and 4mm at the rear than the proposed settings.

Awesome! I did think they would be fine but always good to know someone who has done the same! The other thing is they are very concave front and rear, will they clear the front calipers?

These are the wheels, I know not to everyone's taste but they will certainly be different

Will 21x10 et20 and 21x11.5 et30 be a perfect fit for f10 m5?

Fronts are too aggressive, rears are OK. Either go with bigger ET on the front or narrower wheel.

You think 21x10 et25 is the best ? I have my front fenders rolled and running coilovers so I can adjust ride height, but I like the slammed look. and also rears you think are aggressive or not ?

Thanks for the help!

Why would you want such a wide wheel in the front? I’m running 9.5 in the front with a 275/30/20 tire. Running a wider tire than 275 in the front would be pointless (and may cause your DSC to act up if the diameter is wrong). Running 275 on a 10J wheel will probably look stretched.

9.5J ET25 will probably be best if you want aggressive. Rears are probably going to be OK, depending on the tire size. I’m running 11J ET31 with 295/30/20, planning on running 305/35/21 when my 21” wheels arrive.

Reason I’m going for 21x10 is the equal out the look of width to the rear 11.5’s .

Yeah but the whole idea of the staggered setup is to have a wider tire in the back. You'll either have to put a really wide tire in the front, which won't have any benefit, or your normal tire is going to look stretched.

I really like the wheel design and color. I'm going for a similar color on my 21" wheels. Please do post photos once you have them installed on the car

I’m going to run 265/30/21 up front and 305/25/21 rear

265 on a 10J wheel is definitely going to be stretched. If you don’t mind the stretched look, the offset should be OK. You can google 265 tire on a 10J wheel to get an idea of what the tire is going to look like. Personally I’m not a fan of the stretched look.

Hi all,

Got a set of BBS RX2 in 21
front et23, 9j
rear et28, 10.5j

At the same time as sorting out the wheels, I will install KW HAS, so I am trying to avoid any issues before spending money on mps4s.
I know there is millions of threads around tyre/wheel combo but I don't seem to be able to find a definitive answer for me.

I am thinking of going 265 30 front and 305 25 at the back but I can see straight away that front will have to get around 7-10mm spacer because of the brake caliper.
I don't expect the rear to be a big problem in terms of caliper clearance but maybe someone could let me know if I would be better of running 295 or 305 with this rim setup and KW HAS on as well.
"Will they fit" says using 305 will up a little tyre height (6mm) which is great because I worry a little about potholes and the condition of UK roads all together.

Don't want to play with camber or see any rubbing.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
