Does anyone know if MCCBs qualify for this SIB?
my CCBs squeak and squeal AFTER they are heated up. Even at low speed while not braking.

I think you guys need to watch this video. at 8:50 you can see the extreme heat is making the rotors red! This is the reason you hear the squeaking noise... Too much stress on rotors of a heavy car will cause deformation (no matter what material is being used) and is causing this noise...

12/4/15, New 2015 M5 CP, 400 miles, embarrassing very squeaky brakes at low speed stops.
Provided SIB. SIB performed. No findings. Squeaked again within 3 miles after leaving -- in nice warm weather. No difference. Really ANNOYING.

I'm upset to find out that you guys are going through this as well. I have a 2015 M3 with the ceramic brakes, and I'm doing everything in my power to find a fix for the brake squeal.
Maybe they will introduce an updated pad for the M3/4 ceramic kit, I think the front calipers are similar to the M5s

These threads make me laugh- go to a Mec, Porsche, Audi, Ferrari, Lambo, GTR etc forum and find the exact same... no think, same or similar manufacture of brakes, similar compounds due to level of performance required (heat to deal with) and similar results eg noise!

We drive big, heavy cars with loads of power and performance and need brakes to cope.

As the manual, BMW (fit any marque name here) and dealers say, its perfectly normal and a function of the brakes.

There is no magic fix, some cars will resond to champhering of the pads, of cleaning sprays or harmonic weighted pads, some just to driving hard.

So get over it

Front suspension noise

Hello, I have a 2015 F10 M5 and when going over bumps, the front suspension makes a clunky noise. I took it to the dealer who took it apart and said all looks fine. It still makes the noise (I hear it on the dirver side, when windows are open). Any idea? Thanks

Thanks E90Fleet

With the information and photo of the brake pads required that you posted : I took that in to my local mechanic and he ordered them from BMW directly, did the work himself and it solved the issue. NO MORE SQUEALING. And my mechanic was happy to do the work without changing the rotors which the dealership refused to do. I have encountered (and fixed) issues on my F10 ranging from the dreaded limp mode from faulty injectors and coils to the ridiculous brake squeal. I think I am finally dialed in. thanks E90Fleet and everyone else who has posted on the F10 issues in general. It has helped me out tremendously. Ive owned several BMWs and NONE OF THEM were ever as tempermental as this one.

You sure its the front now, there is a small issue with the secondary dampers on the rear springs in a little bit of a 'give' gap but not considered a problem by Bm.It happens on mine at times on a rough ripply and small potholed road in comfort mode but nearly disappears once in sport.Makes no difference if Lci or not.
