Bootmod3 stage 2 dyno results

So just got off the dyno for a few hours verifying my ots stage 2 tune was installed. I'll post graphs here shortly but looking for some feedback. My tq numbers were consistently hitting close to 640 but hp never got much higher than the 560 range. Verified boost was hitting around 22-23psi to see that the flash was there.
I pulled logs but i have to sort through them yet. Might see if I can have them verified for pulling any timing.

Expected to see higher hp and not higher tq. Thoughts?

What kind of dyno, and what gear were the dyno pulls made?

there's one of the last pulls. I don't know what I'm looking for for timing however.

Hmm, your boost for stage 2 seems to be hitting where it needs to be and afr's look fine. Try pulls in 5th gear next time, since that is your 1:1 gear ratio. Dyno Dynamics also tend to read lower than Dynojets. I bet it pulls strong!

the IAT seemed to be around 140, and comparing to some other bootmod3 logs the timing was at 4.5 where theres was 10.5. I'm thinking it was running far too hot, soaked and pulled back timing.

What were the temperatures inside while your car was on the dyno? Also, try posting your logs here:

https://www.facebook.com/search/top/...%20enthusiasts

I would specifically reach out to Halim from HCP, since he develops the OTS tunes for BM3.

Timing is low 4-5 should be 10-11 so too hot or need more fueling . Stft is 1.0+ i think it’s suppose to be much lower .

I agree on the timing. STFT looks the same as what I'm comparing to on another car, so not sure if that's off.

So the cooling setting for the dyno wasn't optimal. I think I'm going to have to chalk it up to high temps. The thing that's strange to me is that I was putting down really high torque numbers still...

What exhaust mods do you have? That's a lot of boost to run in the midrange. Engine is clearly not with it. The high boost wil increase cylinder temps to the point where the engine will knock up top. This engine is happiest when tuning boost pressures up top that would allow for 13-15 deg of timing above 6000rpm. With timing advance so low up top, your EGTs must be very high. And if the tune disables the component protection lambda tables (triggered by EGT), that's a whole different story altogether. Just my 2c..

Get on a dyno that can do 5th gear pulls.....thats the closest to 1:1 gear ratio. 640wtq is about right for stage 2 tho....

gutted downpipes

I think the issue is the temps, the dyno setup had weak fans and it'd been sitting on the dyno a long time while they setup.

Yeah - I have OTS st.2, 91 octane and hoping my whp isn't that low.

Anybody know the whp difference between 4th and 5th?
