I have the M6 coupe and will have a M5 coming next year (though drove it many times in friend's car).
Well, personally I would pick the RS7 just because it's a different kind of car, but if Audi is not your thing (it's not my wife's that's why I can't get it), then maybe the CTS-V, it has a great engine and the best chassis for now. But the interior is horrible. I don't like the current gen. E class interior so it's never on my radar. One dark horse maybe 2016 Alpina B6 grand coupe? It now also makes 600HP, has xDrive, plus it has no top speed restrictor. |

But it is still very fast (0-100km in 3.8, and 0-200km in 13.2, both quoted by Alpina) and you gain AWD for wet conditions and no top speed restriction (324km), though probably no where you can use that unless you live in Germany. B6 also has nice interior and is sold by BMW dealership, so I am sure whatever modification Alpina made to the engine, it is robust enough that BMW NA don't mind selling it. |

If you don't need 4 door, go for M6 Coupe. M6 GC is too long and heavy IMO. M6 Coupe is long and heavy too, but you don't really feel that much weight and that much length when you are behind the wheel. Also M6 Coupe is faster and has better handling than other M6 (GC and Convertible) as well as M5 due to lower center of gravity and less weight.

I've driven both since my cousin owned a GC a coupe. Honestly, I love having the backseat space. The GCis too tight for means in the coupe it's none existent. The m4 had more rear space. Haha
