From what I can see (from the pics) is that the interior is decent with the drivers' seat bolsters a bit hidden.I personally only wanted one with black merino comfort seats with swing down rear seats which this one lacks.
I bought mine in a private sale 2 years ago to this month with 25000 mi on it and it was also the colour I wanted Sing Grey with the 343M's though without a few of the extra add on's that One Extra's one has got.I paid £29500 after a lot of haggling and he even delivered it to my driveway after I left just a £100 deposit! (The car was from Wimbledon).
It looks like new to this day and the standard Bavaria with EQ hi fi and cd sounds fantastic.
If your friendly with a good car paintwork work guy this may be the one for you the mileage is lowish fine to me.Just needs an oil change asap..!

Oh by the way the rear tyres were worn nearly to the bars on mine at sale so that was factored into the price deal also.

the lack of a service would be a big factor for me and personally I would steer clear. Like someone else said there are loads out there.

Have you tried https://www.targafloriocars.com this is where I bought mine from a couple of years back and I'm sure they could source one for you!

Just thought, would you get a BMW warranty if there was a missed service?

No highly doubt it, I wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole if it hadn’t been serviced or couldn’t get a BMW warranty on it. I’ve emailed them to find out more as the car has a valid service pack there’s a possibility that’s it’s been serviced.

Not yet, although I came acrosss them before when I was looking for a 997 a few years ago, they’ve normally got some nice motors.

I would seek one out with the full leather interior, heated steering wheel and heated rear seats and 20" wheels, also the comp pack, does make a big difference over the standard car

Of the 3,155 UK F10's built, only 11 have the options listed above, somewhat limiting the available choice!

Even comp pack is hard to find - apparently only 150 or so with this on howmanyleft. This was the main dealbreaker for me.

Also had to have the surround view and NOT the white leather seats (4yr old son!)

I noticed that F10 M5's seem to be registered under about 20 different model names from the direct DVLA data.

There were 454 CP cars built for the UK market.

Though with CP and Surround view, there are:

129 with a Black interior (19 of which are Jahre's)
9 with a Sakhir Orange interior
2 with Amaro Brown interior

All the rest of the UK CP/Surround view have light interiors (Silverstone II, Cashmere Beige, Champagne, Platinum or Silk Grey)

Interestingly the one I linked to above is no longer listed at Sytner Land Rover Bristol, it's now showing on the BMW AUC site as 'coming soon' to Sytner Maidenhead (although at a £3.5k premium!) - so it looks like they will give it a warranty.

I'm keen to check it out, as Maidenhead isn't far from my parents (Bristol just sent me a walk-around video and ignored my service question). However, irrespective of how good it is, I'd find it extremely difficult to justify the £3.5k increase. Wonder what they paid for it as it's a stock transfer within the same dealer group.

That's helpful to know, quite a high chance of finding a CP car without the Black interior then. The search continues...

When I asked about swapping mine based on what they quoted as a p/x I think they would have made about £7K markup and that was Sytner as well

The warranty cover for missed services seems to vary from dealer to dealer. Last year I looked at an M3 CP and the dealer said up front that the run in service was carried out late but it wasn't an issue and BMW would still cover it. It was done at 3500 and not 1200. I was curious as to why dealer would volunteer this up front so I spoke to my usual dealer who advised me to steer clear as they said BMW tend to be very strict on the run in service on M cars.

So it turns out that they can't get the car upto AUC standards!

I assume due to the service history issue, given it has a service pack I do find it unusual. I wonder if perhaps it's been clocked? Given the mileage discrepancy and the tyres?

Anyway, it's going into another Sytner dealer locally to potentially be sold as a 'Sytner Select' car. Hoping to find out where it's going to see if I can check it out anyway. Hopefully I get to take it out for a drive to see what a CP car is like. However, given what I now know this specific vehicle can't be a contender.

Sounds like a car to be avoided

Totally, concerned for the next person that buys it!

Lots of stuff doesn't add up for a car of this calibre, don't worry the alarm bells are ringing loud with this one!

That’s great to know. Where did you get this info from?? I looked on howmanyleft but it is sketchy data on there and can’t drill down the options/colours etc. Yours sounds much more comprehensive.

The DVLA data is available for free from the following link - download the table VEH0160:

https://www.gov.uk/government/statis...#table-veh0160

I built up the full build specifications over a couple of year period by cross referencing information from various data sources.

I came across a car on the AUC car one time which looked very very good for the money spec and miles. However, when I enquired, one of the first things the dealer told me was that the car had missed its RIS and is being sold as a "Select Warranty" car meaning the normal full AUC warranty doesn't apply and that only they (specific franchise) can honour the warranty, you cant just stroll in to any nationwide dealer. For me, that's no good, but was an interesting learning point that such cars do appear on the AUC site. If its too good to be true, then it probably is!
