What's your favorite color on the m5?
Citrin Black is my favorite color hands down.
Followed by Sakhir Orange Azurite Black Amazonite silver Alpine white is what I have and I regret it. My first white car and it's so boring. No shine no luster no nothing and this color you see on every bmw!!! |

Alpine white looks sexy on the e39 M5 but just doesn't work well on the F10 IMO. Maybe with a bunch of aftermarket parts treatment it's "cool", but that's not why I buy M5's.
Citrin black is a nice color, but in the end it's still black. Not a huge fan of black cars. Amazonite is definitely a cool color and works well on the F10. I'm a big fan of blue shades. So, I like (in no particular order) the Monte Carlo blue, Imperial Blue, and the matte blue individual color... can't think of the name right now. |

I love my Alpine White. Polished and sealed it looks outstanding.
I will never have any version of black as a daily driver again. |

I would never buy a blue car but i would do monte carlo blue on an M only bc it is Thee M cars/ M5 color/catalogue color
Black is what I wanted but I looked at pics of my car for weeks and the spec was right and I was gonna just bite the bullet and just get it eventhough it was "champagne/pewter".. Well, i get to the dealer and they walk me over to a black M5 and I'm like what the heck this isnt the one I came for.. but ill take it! hah. -Black Sapphire Metallic - wasnt expecting, wouldve never ordered it, but love it. its all business black, but has peronality. - ALL of these pics are the same car, the first pic is the dealer pic that I was looking at online and you can tell it it doesn't look black at all.. all because of the light the other pics are mine with various lighting. i dig it BLACK SAPPHIRE METALLIC Last edited by BeachM5nster; 02-22-2019 at 05:09 PM.. |

Thanks for starting this thread...
After years of blues and grays and with my last E60 model being specifically Monaco Blue, I decided to go with Alpine White. I still like it and don't regret my decision per se, however if I would do it all over again I may want go after two individual colors that have caught my eye: Moonstone Metallic - like it because it's not a silver and not a white - which are common BMW colors but in between. Tanzanite Blue - looks really good with sun and being slightly lighter than Azurite Black which most people correlate with Carbon Black - a popular BMW color |

I've always wanted Sakhir Orange but right now I have Singapore Grey.
My next car will be red though. Cheers |

I really didn't want another black car after coming back home from Audi to BMW, but I think it worked out OK. ;-)
The trick is to keep up the polish after paint correction and ceramic. If the gloss is maxed out, tough to beat black on the F10. |

Really at the end of the day the colour is slightly less important as the seat in the pants feel you get when you open her up on a nice empty road knowing your running gear is up to date.
