Suspension Clunk/knock noise

Hi guys

So I am picking a very faint knocking noise from the left hand side of my car at the moment (cant tell if its front or rear yet)

Its really not bad at present so Im only going to take it to a dealer if the problem gets worse.

I currently have extended BMW warranty so just wanted to double check that if this turns out to be suspension related, am I right in thinking that this is covered under warranty?

Cheers

I suppose it depends what it is but you would hope so given what they cost, either way I would take it to BMW

I had the same thing. It was my sway bar bushings getting loose. A local garage fixed without the need to replace the whole bar.

Assuming this would have been covered under warranty?

I'd be surprised if it wouldn't be.

Didn't have warranty. My local mechanic literally fixed it with some pieces of cardboard to keep in place (yes you read that right) and it's fine now.

So it turns out it was the near side front control arm...

BMW is going to replace both sides and also replacing anto roll bar drop links to make sure

All under warranty so happy with that
