Instrument Cluster Question

Hey guys--

I just bought an F10 out of Canada. You know what I'm about to say: the cluster is in KMH.

Does anybody know if swapping the F10 instrument cluster follows the same process as some of the older cars, ex: finding a lower mileage cluster and coding it to match the key/DME for current (higher) miles?

Just spoke with BMW and they said a new cluster is more than a month out. Lots of pre-owned units for sale out there for half the price of new; just curious if I can buy one with lower miles and code it in?

I searched all over the forum, but I keep finding old E39 threads on this. Feel free to call me an idiot and post a thread if I missed it. Thanks!
