Installing a subwoofer, help,
I want to add a subwoofers to a new 2015 M5.
My M5 has the regular HK stereo system. In the I drive it has the equalizer. I have 1 Zapco 1100.1 and 2 Image dynamics IDMAX sub woofers. The Zapco amp is older and it's not the new Digital amplifier. It uses a SymbiLink Cable. It plugs into the amp, and the other end has 4 wires on it for a 2 channel signal that would tap into the cars low audio sub signal. Normally I would just tap into a low signal of the car, and run the subs off of it. My question is where are the wires located to tap in and Where is a remote wire located. Is there a better way to do this, or does someone make a harness that is just plug-and-play? Do I need a line driver? Like an audiocontrol. Thank you for your help. |
