B&O centre speaker operation

Hi all,

I bought my car a week ago and am completely confused on when the centre speaker rises and when it doesn’t. I read on the forum it’s supposed to rise when entertainment is on, so as long as not muted, it should rise?

Mine sometimes does, sometimes doesn’t

Then if it does rise, it always goes down again. Sometime quickly, sometimes a couple of minutes later. Doesn’t seem to related to speed, entertainment settings etc…

Is this normal, is there a setting I am missing?

Car is under warranty for a couple of thousand miles so I want to get it sorted quickly. I took it to the service dept this AM and of course the bloody thing rose up, high and proud.

That seems a common problem with b&o with the centre speaker and there have been amp failures reported also.
