///M Laptimer: 0-60 in 5.2 or 3.7?

Most of you have probably done some testing on the Laptmer app already. If not or if you haven't even installed it yet: Hurry to do so, it is absolutely cool.

I love the Throttle, RPM and Brake analysis in the lap review, really helpful to improve skills.

No here is something strange, though: I wanted to test my 0-60 times and was so frustrated that the app would spit out nothing better than 4.5 seconds and most of the time when I felt really good over 5 seconds.

Then I dove down into the app and looked at some of the take-offs that I felt most comfortable about. I drilled down to the throttle view and pulled it apart and checked the timing at 0 mph and at exactly 60 mph. Result: The 0-60 times calculated this way were all more in the range of what I expected with the best at 3.7 and some seconds.

So the question: how does the app get to the automated 0-60 times and are those really accurate?
