Won't help the sound any. Might as well get the system and improve the sound and look of the rear

I had this system installed about two months ago and have been happy with it so far. It's definitely louder than a stock non-CP, no mod, exhaust, especially during cold start.

It's not too loud, IMHO, and is a good middle ground sound and level between stock and race. Keeping the chrome tips clean during the Utah winter is another story...

This looks like a different tip setup than what is pictured everywhere else. Are these straight cut tips?

Quite honestly what I think doesn't work on your system is the angle cut tips, and the fact that they look sunken back from the fascia about 2".

They're slash-cut, indeed. Due to the reflection from the Chrome Silver finish they can be a bit misleading in pictures depending on the angle the photo is taken.

They're slip fit, so you can stagger them to the desired depth. They're bound to look different in various pictures due to the owner's preference.

I remember reading your thread about that. Sounds like it was worth the wait though.

Had a question about an earlier post of yours regarding drone. You mentioned that there is no drone when driving normally. Can you tell me when there is drone? Thanks!

If I'm driving in manual mode and ever keep the rpms around 1800-2000 for a length of time

Gotcha. Shouldn't be a problem with me...I drive in manual mode most of the time but keep things at 4000.

1800 - 2000 is cruise mode in D though. So there's drone at cruising speed (i.e., long highway trips with family in the car)?

Do you have ASD disabled?

No I usually cruise a bit lower just out of the range so I don't have any drone.

Also let me clarify that while there might be drone in that range it's not like it's overbearing. I've had a Billy Boat exhaust in my S5 before getting the M and it was a migraine session every time I drive to and from Dallas to OKC
