Good luck with the sale.
They look the part. I got a similar finish by using wet and dry sand paper on my chrome tips and then sprayed them with stove enamel and then some vht clear lacquer. I was well pleased with the result. They look much better on the car than silver. |

They just pull off. They are tight. If you get behind them with a small piece of wood and hit it a tap with a mallet. I got them off that way and just slid them on by hand. It's a cheap fix. If you want a soft sheen finish you can just use the stove enamel. I added the vht lacquer so I could clean them like my alloys.
