I have a NV LCI M5 coming into iND soon for some work. I'll be sure to take photos. The install is just as simple but requires a few extra steps to unclip the night vision bracket.

Thanks Nate.

One more question : can the small M5 badge on LCI grille be mounted to pre-LCI grille ?

There is no location for the M5 logo on the pre LCI grilles. I guess you could custom mount the logo but at that point it makes more sense to get the new grilles.

I was worried about bending the tabs on the bumper so I did the 'hands through the top of the bumper' method. This looks a lot easier.

I just grabbed the grills and used the grill surrounds as a lever to pull the grills out. Very simple, no breakage of tabs and surprisingly easy to remove.

Nate - I'm assuming this method also works for the F12/F13 M6?

Nope sorry it does not. For the M6 you will need to remove the front bumper cover.

i wasn't able to just pull the grills out on my 2014, i ended removing the weather stripping and a few bolts to get my hand behind the bumper and i was able to pull them out, i did break 2 clips on the driver's side. new ones went it very easily. the sidemarkers were very easy to get in though as were the rear reflectors. tomorrow i'll tackle the rear spoiler and front reflectors.
