Holts Tyreweld currently £3.50 delivered from Amazon UK

Looks like a great deal and worth having in the car just in case, you may need 2 though although its 500ml for tyres 17" and bigger so I can imagine one would work

Mine arrived on Saturday and are now in the boot, I think the original stuff from BMW has gone out of date, not even looked

Perfect, just ordered 2... Not sure 1 will fill a 20inch tyre.

If it does at least i have a spare.

A friend has one of those, not sure if I would rather just fill the tyre with gunk and drive off to get it fixed than lay in the road looking for nails or a leak then try and repair it

Would rather temporarily fix it with bung if possible, would hold up much better I think than the gunk. No need to lie in road just get the nail visible and do it squatting, pull nail out, burr the hole with tool then insert plug just enough with the glue on it with the handled pin, pump up tyre and slice of the end.

Better off having the gunk as a backup though incase you're on the motorway.

If your trapped on the hard shoulder yeah, that's why I like to have the two options in the boot.
