Drivetrain Malfunction
Under certain circumstances... all day of driving fast, pushing the car... on the way home accidentally redline and DTMAL pops up, or going up to a high elevation in like 6th gear around 5k rpm it will go into DTMAL, no check engine light.... BMW said it was a compression code, anyone else?? They said possible turbo going bad, leak in the hoses, coils, spark plugs????

I don't have experience with a "compression code" but it doesn't sound like a standard misfire causing the DTM. We would need a lot more information in order to help you. If you can't diagnose and repair yourself, you're better off getting it to act up again and take it to a repair shop for diagnosis. Good luck |
