Steering juddder when braking from 100mph

Hi all had new brakes fitted around 1500 miles ago noticed when braking from over 100moh the steering judders could these be warped discs ? And how can you check? Thanks

I would guess the disc could be warped. Only way is to test it your self remover the wheel and put something like a metal ruler against the disc. Turn the disc and see if it touches or not. Best way really with out taking it to a garage.

Other option is have them skimmed. I've done that and it cured it

Just the pads then you had fitted, if it didn't happen before what make of pads did you have installed.

Where would I get these skimmed from? And the pads are genuine bmw ones ! Thanks

You bedding the pads in gently for the first 150-200 miles..

had this same issue after pads and discs were replaced, it was put down to the tyres being out of roundness, you could see the ovality as they were spun on the balancing machine

Could be lower control arm, I had the same issue and new discs, pads dynamic balancing etc nothing worked

Lower control arm was replaced and it fixed it
