Oil Analysis interpretation

An oil analysis was done on the oil extracted from my vehicle after 5,000 kms / 1 year of use. The report is attached. I have no idea how to interpret the report but am a little troubled by reference to fuel dilution. Can anyone offer some insight?

Maybe because I'm on mobile.

I think some fuel dilution is normal on these engines. I know my oil smells like fuel as well. Especially after 4-5k miles, it gets pretty strong. I keep my oil change intervals at 4-5k miles.

My previous Mercedes V8 Biturbo smelled like gas too. It's probably because of these engines using direct injection.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, thanks. I run 10% ethanol each time I fill up. The reading I've done suggests that doing so could well contribute to fuel dilution. I think its all good as I change the oil every 5,000 kms or so

Same, I didn't know that ethanol causes that. Thanks to California and it's crappy fuel (and roads) :

Same here on the fuel quality issue. Always having to add octane (eth or octane boosters or both) to compensate for our crappy fuel. And don't get me started on the potholes

It's terrible man. I sometimes have to drive way under the speed limit because the potholes and crappy patch jobs. What happened to the extra taxes for fixing our roads!?

I'm surprised to hear that you guys have like-problems in a first world country. Here in dark Africa, it's par for the course

Did you get the engine up to temp before draining the oil to get the sample? Draining the oil cold can result in higher fuel dilution readings.
