Aren't these designed for stock suspension?

I still have stock everything, but when I installed the CP bars in the M5 there was some misalignment there too. As I remember the bar end hole was about an inch from the linkage bolt. What I did was leave the mounting bolts very loose, just four or five turns in to engage the threads in the mounting points. That would allow me to move the sway bar ends to better engage the linkage, and I could push the linkage bolt through the mounting hole on the bar. Then I tightened up the mounting bolts and it all works nicely. Similar situation for the rear bar also.

I called Dinan they stated the bar should fit just fine even with KW.

I will try that to see if it lines up better... For now the OEM fits perfect...

The stock BMW bar, both standard and CP, are bonded to the rubber mounting bushing and have a predetermined angle once the mounting bolts are tightened. From the pictures I've seen of the Dinan bar, it can move independently of the mounting bushing, at least before the bolts are tightened? If that's correct and you haven't tightened the mounts, you could lower the bar to accommodate the longer linkage arm that Dinan furnishes, couldn't you? Two inches lower though and I'd be a little worried about clearance issues.

Exactly... My shop is going to consult with Dinan today and get this solved. They are going to disassemble then remount as you suggested. I thank you for your help.

Was this resolved? I have Dinan sways and will be installing V3s in the next few weeks.

Should not be an issue because the Dinan coilovers also are adjustable and they work with the Dinan sways.

I know it's not kv3 but may help you ?

Could there be a special install trick to get it setup ?

I came across this thread when I did the same install yesterday (KWV3 & Dinan Sways). It looks like Dinan has updated their endlinks with a shorter design to get rid of this issue and prevent stock endlinks from being installed with Dinan sways.
