PLEASE HELP = stock offset needed

new to the forum.

I recently purchased a 2016 M5 competition. i have the factory black 343 wheels.
20x9.5 up front with 265x35x20 and 20x10.5 in the rear with 295x30x20.

Can someone tell me the stock offset for these wheels?

One source indicates the front are 31 and the rears are 19. (other sources indicated that may be M6 offsets not m5 offsets)

But i can't substantiate the numbers anywhere. I'm planning to sell these and buy a new wheel / tire combo and would like to know the correct offset needed when i order.

Thanks for the help!

the stock 20" 343m are et 32 front and et 34 rear.

so they would be similar. no way the rears would be et 19. they would poke too much

Thanks Hasser. Those offsets are for the 9.5 front and 10.5 rears? i've seen perhaps non competition wheels are 9 and 10 respectfully.

I'm 90% sure the 9.5/10.5 width wheels are the M6 wheels. I don't think the comp pack wheels are any wider than the regular M5 343Ms. I could be mistaken, though.

Eithet way, 31/19 is definitely the M6 offsets.

^^This is correct, the offsets for the M6 are 31/19.

The M5 comp wheels are the same widths as the 343.

Yup, and I'd assume the same offsets Hussar indicated above for the 343Ms.

ok. i found a spot online that indicated competition package had 9.5 fronts and 10.5 rears. also, if you look at the tire sizes.. discount tires says that for the 265 fronts they where measured with 9.5 rim and the 295 rears where measured with 10.5 rim.. I just always assumed car manufactures put tires on with the exact fitted rim width.

also you can google BMW option sheets online. The option sheets indicate the black 343 wheels with performance tires are 9.5 upfront and 10.5 in back. i have the black 343 wheels.

i'm back to being confused....

BMW made a mistake in the US spec sheet that they never bothered to correct! The only F10 M5 width and offsets are 9" and 10", then 32mm and 34mm. All F06/12/13 M6 wheels are the same, 9.5" and 10.5" with 31mm and 19mm offsets.

A few people have put M6 spec wheels onto an M5 and it makes for a fairly aggressive fitment.
