seller claiming OEM sent OE VNE rotors

I attached some photos seller claimed OEM rotors and sent me VNE OE rotors, these are made in Germany by VNE gmbh...this company adds GMBH to the end to maybe mask OEM quality? does anyone have any information on these rotors should I send back and get OEM M rotors as promised? please help

Not exactly sure what the issue is.

I just put the VNE ones on. I got them at fcpeuro so if they die I can replace them anyways. The price was pretty good and I they dont appear to be different other than the M logo being gone.

Those are OE rotors without the BMW stamp... GMBH isn't put on there to mask anything, it's a German Co. That's the co. that makes them for BMW. They're basically Genuine.

Those are OE rotors that are the same as the genuine rotors without the M stamp. That said if you paid for genuine you should receive genuine. If the seller's listing showed the VNE packaging then I personally wouldn't worry about it.

There's a lot of confusion about oe vs oem.

OE is same as dealer, OEM is same parts from same manufacturer without the logo.

Check a few articles like this one from turner.

I'm just about to embark on rotor and pad change! Went for redstuff pads for same reason as carbotech, hoping for way less dust..... Was this apparent right from the start when installing your pads??

Yes, I can go months without hand washing the rims now. Before it was 10 miles of driving and they were black.
