Red Buttons

I think they are a nice enhancement to the steering wheel, plus only £15, they are a bit fiddly to do, but only took me 20 minutes from start to finish

It's a good job we aren't all the same, I just feel it's similar to the F90 look although those buttons are on each side....I know what you mean about OEM but these do have a nice feel about them

I'm not sure about the steering wheel buttons but when I first got in a F10 M5 I was decidedly disappointed at the boring black start button.

Could you provide a link for the red start button too please?

Thank you very much.

A button that unleashes 560HP shouldn't be boring to look at.

Looks good. I ordered the Polar blue color to match with the M Performance steering wheel I just ordered.

Put a trim removal under the bottom of the whole trim and gently lift away from the dash going from one side to another, unclip the electrical connectors from the centre air vents and the start/stop switch

Undo the screws holding on the switch and swap over the new switch

The air vents are attached to the trim

BE CAREFUL WHEN LIFTING THE TRIM AS THE CABLES ARE SHORT SO YOU CANT PULL A LONG WAY FROM THE DASH

m buttons and start button just off eBay or amazon.
but there are lots of sellers in the UK on Instagram.

carbon trim eBay also.

steering wheel is alcantara trimmed with the m stiching but retains the heating function as the actual m performance version doesnt have the heating

These aren't like the E60 M5 that have 2 power settings. The M1 and M2 buttons are only for set up of steering, throttle, suspension, HUD, TC etc. The cars run full power all the time.
