Wireless headphones with rear entertainment - non OEM?

My new M has the rear entertainment, which is great for my 9 year old twins. I've done some researching but can't seem to find a definite answer as to whether non-oem bluetooth headphones will work with it. Even in the manual. Does anyone know for sure? f found this reference for an F90 saying that's it's a Kleer type of technology and not regular bluetooth, but am not sure if that applies to ours or not.

I've got the RSE Professional in my F10 M5 too (and also have twins!) but have never used headphones (either wired or wireless) with my car.

My wife's car also has a RSE system with bluetooth headphones - don't think the kids have used them once!

The wife's car is not a BMW and hence the wireless headphones are not OEM BMW.

I haven't actually attempted to pair them to the BMW RSE system in the M5 either (assuming that is what you were thinking?).

Sorry I wasn't more clear, yes I assumed your wife's was a BMW using RSE with bluetooth headphones.

If you never used your OEM headphones, then I was thinking about making an offer for them, but realized your were on the other side of the globe, so shipping would probably be prohibitive.

Yeah sorry, won't be able to help on that front as I don't have the OEM BMW ones.

I'd imagine you should be able to find some BMW ones online without too much difficulty.
