Strange problem with Sound system ( Harman Cardon )

Hello everyone,

First of all i am sorry for posting this here but because many people are not checking the nav/sound forum i posted that one here . Respect to all of you guys .

So recently i had some trouble with my sound system in general because of the rear end damage on amplifier side, sound was switching from left to right and front to back randomly .

Now its not working at all no sound on radio/media no where and there is no mute logo on screen .

I was using the settings at -10 bass because when i turn it up immediately it starts to interrupt the part of the music which includes too much bass.

I took my car to the service but unfortunately they dont have BUS connector to check was is the exact problem and they told me to replace the amplifier which will cost 1500$ and i am purely sure that they are not 100% sure that its amplifier .

So my question is , i find some second hand amplifiers here and they are also harman cardon top hifi but the plugs and pins are different than mine .

Is there anyway to replace my amplifier with one of those that i found on the market ?

Here is also my amplifier attached.

Thank you all in advance everyone

I know brother but as i said there is no bus connector here to check what is the exact problem . I cant find the same one to replace, which i found has different pins but also HK .

My question is , if it's possible to play with wiring and replace with another amplifier.

I can order a second hand from usa but i have no chance to return it if its not working or does not fit or if the problem is not amplifier

No connection to the seller, but this looks like it should be a suitable replacement (same part number):

Your only chance there is car hi-fi radio shop who has knowledge of soldering new plug up from existing wiring to adapt to replacement amp.
If not then a poster has put on an eBay item from UK with uncut complete wiring, amp, speakers etc check it out, you can make offer.
I doubt it's anything else as there appears to be water ingress into your amp. GL!

Hi buddy just a quick question. My Harman Kardon amp has failed, with exactly the same serial number as yours 9366166 .Did your 40amp fuse blow in the rear fuse board?
Cheers Mike

Smile New in the forum

Hello,

I want to inform you that I am new to the forum and recently purchased a BMW M5 F10 LCI. I noticed something similar to an adapter coming out of the left side of the engine. I would like to learn more about this adapter and its purpose. If anyone has any information or experience with it, please share. Thank you in advance for your help!
