Jags do this every year. Over pay ridiculously for above average players. This is how every NFL season starts - Jags making big signing splashes and then they go 1-16.

I just read an article telling how the Cowboys tried to sneak some language into the contract and it didn't sit well with Gregory.

Damn. First time sports books have requested an investigation. Specifically the large sums that were placed Thursday and Friday last week on the Buccaneers winning the division and winning the Super Bowl. They WERE 50-1 to win division. +1400 to win Super Bowl.

Then on Sunday, two days later announces his unretirement.

Screw that! I never liked Kaep and it was well before the whole kneeling drama. When he played for the rival Niners I truly despised him. Having said that, there's no way in hell he would be able to play quality football after being out the past 5 years.

Well yeah, I guess that's why they're requesting a formal investigation. Even as rumors were starting to circulate Saturday and they lowered the odds multiple times just in case, same individuals kept placing bets. So even when 50-1 went down to 35-1, more bets same players were placed. Same thing occurred at 25-1.

I want to say I can't imagine somebody would be that dumb but, well, if I've learned anything the past couple years, dumbs the bare minimum to expect these days.

Mike Glennon and Jake Fromm on their best days can’t even compete with TT’s worst so this is a step in the right direction. I wouldn’t be surprised if he played the majority of the season as he’ll be breathing down Jones’ neck.

Unless Jones lights it up this season, he’ll be gone next January while TT will be the bridge QB. This coming season, I’m not expecting a playoff birth nor a winning record, just progress over the last five miserable seasons. As for Josh Allen, we should trade Jones, Barkley and 4 number 1’s for him.

Yeah we're a few years away from being relevant. What kills us is we're in the bottom 10 but we're not as bad as the Jags and Lions. So we never get a decent pick.

It's the worst place to be in the NFL. Mediocre teams who aren't shitty enough to pick top 3 and not good enough to make it to playoffs. Forever relegated to mediocrity.

was language that is in every contract on the team outside of dak. was even in gregory's last contract extension.

basically, if he gets suspended or fined for player conduct, they can go after his guaranteed money. The suspension clause is standard across the league, the fined clause isnt, but its not like they tried to sneak it in. They also have never invoked the clause.

It seems like gregory wanted to go to denver, jerry talked him in to staying, cowboys and gregory's agent announced a deal was done, and gregory had second thoughts and looked for an out that didnt make him look bad.

Im ok with it. wasnt a fan when it was announced we were re-signing him to a 5yr 70mill deal considering he hasnt played a full season yet and cant seem to get out of his way when it comes to league rules. 16.5 sacks in 50 games since he came in to the league in 2015. 6 sacks in 12 games last season.
