Have any of you driven the latest gen of 5 series or the F90 M5? I happen to have a G30 520D loaner at the moment, pretty darn impressive with the interior cabin and the tech toys in it. Its kinda got me thinking, and I know its no M car, but a new gen 540i M sport might be pretty tasty...

I've test driven an F90 M5 with the carbon roof and impressed with the speed, bugbear is that it lacks the feel of F10 and did not like the firm seats which look too futuristic-ish for me.
It's either full on go or cruise in these and little in between with the fitted 4wd system but definitely rapid in every sense when foot is planted.If I did decide on one of these in a few years time I'd personally look for sun roof option which I have yet to spot.
The stock wheels are another sore point with the only extra cost option of having the small silver flutes completely black so some nice forged silver 5 spokers would have to be dialled in to satisfy me.

It is quite unique in that there were only 21 built worldwide in Frozen Dark blue, 3 RHD and only 1 in the UK.

IMHO, despite the spec, the price looks a little on the high side, when compared to similar priced cars that are a a year or more newer.

Frozen colours don't normally appeal to me but this frozen blue is actually very nice. I hear they're a pig to maintain though, bird droppings and so on need immediate remedial attention etc. Gorgeous car and a lot of spec!
