13 M5 more misfires again

As anyone who read my last thread, I had cylinder one go bad, left car at dealer for 12 days and they said it was softwear update needed. Took the tech for a ride and limp mode right away. Printed them the error codes but they don't read error memory, just current codes being thrown. So fast forward a month after having coil and plug replaced for I think right at $700, I'm back at it. Found this BMW place called Motorhaus in west palm beach who's been real nice, re fitted my mid pipes to my down pipes after other mechanic who put my soul exhaust bypass on and did my spacers, they said they'd do the remaining 7 coils and plugs for $1000 flat. So doing that Thursday and going to ask them to look at injectors while in there. Sucks because there was a 911 that wanted to play the other day and I can't go heavy above 3,500 rpm.

Is there a way to check HPFP while they have the car?
Thanks for reading

Man, I wish I lived near you. I would buy plugs and coils for less than $300 and charge you half the labor and I'd still feel bad for charging too much! Do what you have to, but even though this place is cheaper than the BMW dealer you go to, I still think that price is highway robbery.

What codes are you getting? You started a different thread a while back that went dead. You had some or at least one fuel injector code. What ever happened with that?

I think the only thing that can be checked with the HPFP is to see if it's output is correct. You would probably see a code if it was out of range too, so you're probably not going to find much there.

Thanks for that! Well with 7 coils and plugs I figured $1k was good seeing the dealership was $700ish for just one coil and plug. I just hope this fixes it once and for all!
